The MadRose has a single coil pickup in the neck position and a humbucker in the bridge position. There is a six position rotary switch that creates a wide range of sounds by modifying the bridge pickup.  There will be no effect on the guitar sound when the pickup selector is in the neck position only.


There are five variations in pickup wiring associated with the selector with positions 1 and 6 being duplicates. For even more variety, try blending with the neck position pickup and experiment with both clean and distorted amp settings. The pickup and tonal combinations are seemingly endless.

MadRose™ Pickup Configurations

  1. 1. Series in-phase

    Full bodied traditional humbucker with high output.


  1. 2. Singlecoil North

    Provides cutting, twangy tone. Great for a variety of styles.


  1. 3. Parallel in-phase

    High output humbucker with a midrange edge.


  1. 4. Singlecoil South  

    Bright single coil tone with higher output than position 2 - Blends very well with neck pickup.


  1. 5. Series out-of-phase

    Full output with even low and high end - midrange is scooped.
